looks like it coud take sup to another level again , although only for the shorter boards i wouldnt want to put foot straps on my 11.6.It would mean a knee reco.

I agree..The board in the pics is only 7'10"....and it also looks like only the front foot is in a footstrap (I may be wrong)..That's asking for serious twistage in a fall..

I think that the first brand to come out with the idea was Gongsup couple of years ago ;
They now have footstraps boards available in production in his 2008 range ; the guys use them either with 1 or 2 straps

You're right eric344...Those Gong guys were the first to be footstrapping sup's..but I have no doubt that Laird hasn't played with the idea..

That front strap does make a nice carry handle.
