Thats nasty! The first wave cant have given her too much of a flogging....she waited for another one to finish the job off. Wouldn't have happened on a SUP. I saw the same thing happen to a goat boat at Pt Cartwright on the Sunny Coast back in the 80's. Smashed to pieces on the rock wall. The grommets thought it was classic.
Something all surfers learn early on is never to get caught side on by a decent size wave.she seems to be luck not to have been more seriously hurt. probably won't do thata gain.
