AA and I hit "Goatman Country" yesterday to find some nice peaky lumps to carve. Don from Realsurf was there with his camera and snapped these:

Hey GG, started out both sessions on the new 9'2 wide Ripper Woody (due here real soon).
Its very similar in stability to the 96WR but rips way harder.

I found myself being drawn into the pack at both sessions (Curly and Palmy) so opted for the 12' Gun which is glued to the roof when its over 2.5 meters. It always takes a few turns to switched between the two but the Gun is the goods when there are big roving peaks or big fat ones like the ones at Palmy. It allows you to stay a bit wide and out of the way (and share waves).

Palmy was like a dodgem's - it was packed as it was one of the few spots working. Goat and Dogs got the other one but I figured 2 SUP's at that spot was about as much as the locals could bare (especially when its your local), so we opted to go North.

Still riding the LB, GG?

This would of course explain why the mags were late getting to Balmoral!!!!

Then again research is critical!

Hey AA,

All good here in the Uk, actually getting some good waves, yesterday was 3ft and off shore, water was a chilly 8 degrees though.

Off the to the Maldives with Chandler in April so hopefully will score some good waves.

Naish havent done much with SUP in the UK, although Starboard are everywhere, ( No PSH). So Naish have asked me to join them as a team rider and help a bit at contests etc.

Hopefully off to Guethrey in July / August.

How are things for you guys. ??
