G'day All,

Well it's been 6 months since my first video attempt and I finally got around to making another. Same spot but now in September and no wetties (not that we really know what cold is like).

A few old mates having a cracker 3 hour session all by ourselves in fun small full waves.

Enjoy and don't take the piss too bad!!

Cheers
Whitey (YT)

Don't tell. We head up there regularly when the tide and conditions are right even for a few hour session. Early starts then snags under the canopy for lunch and head home. Great spot, especially through the week. Lucky we're shift workers!!

Nice bit of ripping on that Evoke!

Great session.... and a great trip.

I made that long beach run up to that spot..... I gotta say, I had the "sharkiest" feeling being out there.... I swear I heard Jaws music.

Keep the video's coming.... well done!

Thanks guys for the comments. Was a cracker day and finally got my bum into gear and put together a vid. Would have been nice to have a couple of foot bigger but beggars can't be choosers!! Thanks too to "big unit" for giving me some of his footage too.
Supthecreek, believe it or not, I have never seen a toothie there at that spot my whole life and been surfing there for 30 odd yea s now. Lots of turtles, dolphins and tuna etc but never a shark. Same on the open beach but it definitely runs through your mind round there.
Fraser Island, well that's another story!! Lots up there. Got chased out of the water twice in 2 days 20 years ago and will never surf there again!! Same as Moreton Island. I used to fly up and down the beach at Moreton 20 years ago and when the bait fish run, I saw that many sharks you could have walked on them the entire length of the island and never got your feet wet. One of the scariest things I ever saw. Long live DI!!!!

ha ha... I thought that the area where you were in the vid..... the long beach run, overland cross over on the leisha track to that sandy right point on Double Island Point.
I never saw any sharks. I just had a very noisy feel about the place.
