Mate! Looks like a fun day. I recently had a day like that and it ended up a four and a bit hour surf. Talk about wrecked, and then went out for an hour late in the arvo of the same day. Slept well that night!
Question on the flow tho, can you pump it to generate speed down the line easily? I do like the fact that it has been said that it turns more from the middle.
The simple answer (I believe) is yes.
As you can see from my standard of surfing, I am not the world's expert, but I do try to pump it. Not that it was a good example in that vid, but that was what I was trying to do a couple of times when the wave closed out in front of me - I tried to get into the water ahead of the wash to pump and get past it. But those waves did not have much of a wall to work with after the initial bit of fun. But there have been other times when I have pumped to generate extra speed.
I think it is a great board. I like its shape, and I like that it is thin. It is a tiny bit wider, but for my level of surfing it does not matter and I need some buoyancy (90 kegs, 120 ltr board). I have no idea whether the Acid (or Soul) would be better, but the Flow suits me.
