I know this has been spoken about before but know is time to get the ball rolling. I'm keen to start some downwind runs on Saturday afternoons or Sundays if anyone is keen? It would be cool to get a group together to do this on a fortnightly basis or weekly basis depending on how keen people are. Looking at possible DW runs around the Tweed Coast from Pottsville north and GC areas Seaway south, starting with some shorter runs (8km) and moving into some more long distance (20km+).

Cheers, J

adapt, what i would like to see is a goldie/tweed area facebook page so we all have a connection point and runs can be called and organised

so many times i'll do a run and have to get a taxi back to the starting point- that wears a bit thin aftere a while
cheers

Hey Lacey, I'll see what I can do, but I'll admit I'm not much of a fan of Spacebook. Just thought a regular crew that got together once a fortnight for some runs might be a start and fun. Better to start somewhere.

the only problem with once a fortnight etc is the ocean and elements have a habit of not coming up with goods at that given time or day.

funny thing is you can't force a dw run

thats why i reckon a dw alert page might be good idea
cheers

Yeah fair call Lacey, still keen to get a crew together for some open ocean paddling, similar to what the clubbies do. Build up some ocean paddling skills
