WOW!!

That's a crazy article.

The ban will never work imo as how can you class a 17ft race sup the same as 6'6 wave sup.
Most small wave sup's a smaller then some longboards.

It's simple paddle on to your wave standing up and throw away your paddle, then just laydown paddle back out and pick up your paddle.

Once you've throwen your paddle away, your surfing!

I think the fines would never "stand up" in Court LOL.

Yes, interesting !!

Let's say the same thing happened here, in certain zones, and to certain Point Breaks.....
The other night, I was (SUP) surfing a nice point break on my own, in nice clean fun conditions.....
What if the council or state government decided this was "illegal", probably based on safety concerns for others.... and on this occasion there were no "others" even in the water ! So what would be the issue ???

Angie, you would have to be game to take on the American Judicial system !!

If you get a bad name for yourself in California, you won't even get into Hawaii !!
