Ang finished in 2nd and Jake finished in 3rd overall both were paddling the new production Fanatic's NOT custom boards and it was great to see the likes of Kai,Kody and Annabel doing the same!! Shows that you can be right at the top of the field by buying of the shelf boards!!
It was a super hot and tricky race with the boat and back wash really making a mess of the course, i was stoked for Jake to be right up there and then when it came time to do a tie breaker with Zane for out right 3rd spot he stood up and choose to do the paddle of rather than the easy way out of just splitting the points and money!! he knew he could do it and it was a super tight sprint off that came down to the last turn which he done it perfectly!!
If you want to try out some of these new Fanatic race boards then Roar is doing a demo this Sunday that will have all the boards there as well as myself, Ang and if he is not working even Jake will come down and show how good these boards are!! will post Demo times and location in a separate post
