Got my HD Surf Hero for Christmas! Still working out the issues. Didnt put rain x,and got tons of water drops. Didnt put anti fog, so I could barely see myself in the haze! My one good set wave came out pretty crappy. To make matters worst, got inside by a double overhead bomber and took the lip right on my head! Came up and my nice Shaka Puu was in half. Also got dragged on the reef and cut up. At least my go pro didnt come off and no you sadistic people, the camera was off so I will not have the carnage on video for everyones viewing pleasure!

Very funny DavidJohn, I suppose it would have been very entertaining! Would have liked to see the look of horror on my face just before the beating commenced.

Amazing that the GoPro held on in a wave like that, how do you have it mounted?

Hope the cut's aren't too bad, you have a spare paddle and your'e back out there soon so we can see the vids.

Just minor injuries. I have it mounted on the adhesive base plate. My local spot of Hanalei Bay can be a freight train, but its no Teahupoo or pipe. Still it packs a punch as I was reminded of yesterday. Luckily I have a back up paddle, got some rain x and ready for round 2. Hopefully I don't suffer a TKO!
