I had installed a rear Fsc mounting for the GP Camera the other day, tried it out today it went ok! Until a wipeout ouch! The leg rope rapped around the Go Pro camera hung drawn and ripped the well secured fsc mounting enough to crack the Naish Mana deck & tilt the mounting about 5mm from flush on the back of the FSC. Back to the repair shop stronger & better, But! May be next time no leg rope? Unless some one else has an answer how to avoid hanging the GPro. My mounting is near the leggie socket.
Nice vid Greenroom I am liking the paddle cam, looks a little like R B area. I have a paddle mount its the only place I haven't placed the camera yet. I do have the vid of the strangled cam not so pretty, it consisted of alot of white water from the camera being mounted so low then a black webbing (strangle weapon) more white water then the pic of me looking like I was thinking (F__!). I might try the ankle cam Idea sounds interesting. The boards almost fixed but its freezing down in Albany so the resins drying slow. which brings up a new topic semi dry's and dry suit for supping. Thanks for the in puts guys!
Yeah Greenroom, thats an ace little vid, great work!!! I'm working on some 'unconventional' mounts, hopefully they turn out some footage as cool as that!!
