Shhhh!...Not so loud..My wife might hear you.

Yeah..the front yard needs some work..but not while we have this perfect Autumn weather..

I'm half way doing a retaining wall/fence..One day I'll finish it..

I've been building brick steps..(at the back of the car in this pic)..and you can just see two retainer wall bricks on the left..Only about a hundred to go..

dj

cant talk about your yard as my place is full of half finished half done jobs

spend too much time making everyone elses place look like a million bucks all week the last thing i want to do is swing the old hammer round at home on a day off

and with the waves lately they just might stay that way for a while lol..

hot little car dude

can you get roof racks or have to use the dreaded soft racks or have to drill into the roof to mount roof racks(ouch!!)

Nice car DJ, with how much your on the water the plates make perfect sense.
Cool little rims but you should of gone yellow with the colour to match the boards......lol

P.S- A guy who used to live in my town had the name "Wayne Kerr" poor bugger cop it all the time, his parents must of hated him

Now that's funny....Two big Naish boards should do it..

Teaching my daughter to drive next years had a big part in choosing this car..They are a great car to drive..I'll swap back to standard steel wheels first..

Maybe if they bring out a green energy Nissan X Trail in the future..that would be more my style.

I've already had a few people ask..what's SUP?..and I just say back..Hey..Waaz-Suup!!....It's sorta like an in joke.....

Hey Revvin...Yeah I'll be down your way soon for a paddle with you...btw...how did the Walden demo go?

Thanks for the comments about my new car..I'm off now to buy some racks...Rola make some good ones that fit and look cool..I'll post a pic once they're on.

Howdy DJ,

the Walden goes good. I was gonna take some pics and give a bit of a kooks review but I'll give a bit of a run down now.

Took me a bit longer to find my feet in the surf than on the Kalama due to the lower volume rails and chined rail, it is a bit softer in stability and rail goes a bit deeper than on the Kalama or Naish is still really stable though, when you get it on a wave it does just feel like a Mal, maybe coz of pronounced single to double concave and step deck,

was still able to catch unbroken waves and get into waves super easy,

at 6'3" and 98ish Kg's (funny how we talk height and length in imperial and weight in metric) it floated me no worries, when in the surf I was a bit concerned about flat water paddleability but paddled on the river and it paddled well, still lots of glide and well up out of the water

The core is yellowish like on the bonga and kalama so when the white shell chips off it still looks really obvious, one side is really chipped, obviously peoples predominant paddling side but the other only has a few chips, also I think is partly Greenleaders "demo = hire car" theory.

I'll be able to keep it for a bit longer, so looking forward to getting it into some good waves.
