Just checked some cams and it looks like its firing on the Goldy.

I was just back on the cam,my sons out there on his shortie and I noticed a sup'er paddling out from the middle of the beach[}:)]

edit- he got out and is out the back now.

hes either brave or stupid , or both. Bundy , paid 9 bucks at the footy for one at the Suns game , ripped off.

i looke late arvo at the alley- very sideways.

could be an interesting race on saturday, that is getting out at coolie and getting in at the alley. it's suppose to drop.

wind direction is not good is a nice way to put it

Teatrea,I watched him walk down the beach and figured
the same mad/brave but he stuck it out,out the back a
little wide and paddled for many but only dropped into
a few,it was very tippy out there.

yep today would have hectic

timing would be the key. coming in is hard because your pretty tired by the time you get to the alley. it's also hard to get the surfing legs mode happening- they don't want work

i guess if you've done some time surfing the bigger boards it will pay off.

i would probaby let a set pass and get on the next mid size one. more water over the banks and the middie seems to have a good carry after the set waves

There was one year one of the races to finish at the Alley was in big surf wasn't there??? or am I just imagining it.

Anyways, yes the commute to Brissy does suck (even when you get to meet some legends on the train), thankfully I am back to working from home/beach for the next few days

Yep that one was about 3 years ago maybee , mission getting out and worse coming in at the Alley.
