I'm visiting Dad on the Gold Coast for the weekend. He's on the canals behind Surfers, nearish to Ashmore Rd / Bundall Rd... I will have wheels (car) though, so I can go anywhere.

So if anyone is up for a flat water, or surf paddle late in the arvo, let me know... I will need to borrow a spare board and paddle though ! (I'm 6'0, but beggers can't be choosers)

There's a half case of Premium Beer on offer !! (or cash equivalent!)

Sunday morning is also an option.
