Had really good clean 3-4ft waves at our local today with just Phill & Robdog. We tried to put the Go-Pro on my 8 6" surfshapes but it wouldnt stick on the nose due to the non skid veneer finish, We put it on the back looking forward but the legrope kept knocking it off.

We had an arvo session and put it on my 9 6" naish , it came off 5 times and had me swimming all over the place for it very rippy pretty solid waves Got some good waves with some nice steep late drops, we got into play it back and realised I hadnt turned it on properly, only pushed one button instead of 2 Anyway It was a good fun day and good to meet OG Phill and share some waves and surf stoke with him

Don't you just love technology, Brooko? Shame, I'm keen to see the Brooko rippin' his Surfshapes (or Naish) up.

At least you got good waves with friends - nothing better than that!

Yeah thanks casso & firstpoint Wish I had it on my board 2 days ago when waterplace was 5 - 6 ft.... Today we surfed Bridgewater the reliable little beachie down this way, not to sure I would be super keen taking a " stranger visitor sup rider " anywhere else than there, they may find a dead pigs head in there car when they come in

Wish I could of been there with you guys today instead of doing a bloody stocktake. Got out for an hour tonight in 3ft & glass.
Looks as though the season is starting to change for us down this way. The swell is starting to kick and glassen up nicely.

Sunday is looking good at this stage, might come over and check out all the friendly locals.

Big thanks to Robdog and Brooko for an awesome surf and great company!

A huge thanks to Sally and Nicki for the home made sausauge rolls and great atmosphere much appreciated. Robdog you are a lucky man from what I saw!

Bridgy really laid it on for us this morning and frankly I got the wave of my life still smiling. My rediculous fin set up loved the bigger clean faces woooo hoooo. It didnt like the chop later on though, but we were all in trouble by then.

The vibe in the water was pure fun and that made it day to remember. These guys absolutely rock to surf with!!!!!!!!!!!

Robdog AKA "The jerry lopez of sup" killed it with style, he makes it all look so easy and carefree. Just watching him catch waves was a pleasure. Nothing phases the man he just takes it all in his stride. He is stoked on life.

Then for all those that want to know if Brooko rips on his 8'6 surf shapes well lol no he doesnt, he charges on it!!!!!!! It looks like a 6'2 under him and he surfs it that way too.

Brooko said when you come down we'll get you into some mellow waves PMSL, he and I spent something like 15mins trying to get out throught the shorey at one point. We then had to walk 300m down the beach to get sucked out by the rip, laughs. Note to self dont get caught inside at bridgy. Cocked that up becuase it happen several more times.

Brooko then pointed out that the white pointer snack stand was just round the corner to pep up my confidence, laughs. I figure lifes an adventure your here for a short time make as much of it as you can, pack as much in as you can. I assure you these guys live life and surf that way!

Helen came out to join us for a SUP and got some great waves on her 11ft DC.

All in all a fabulous day still smiling and as suggested I am gonna hook up the whole crew pack 4 sups on the roof and head down that way for a weekend soon.

Thanks again guys for a day I will remember for a long long time.

Phill
