Hello all, just wondering if anybody can recommend a good repairer on the Northside of Brisbane or Sunshine Coast. I was having a surf yesterday and found some cracks around the centre handle and not happy. I have been drying it out today and hopefully don't have too much water inside as it has only had a slow weep making the odd drop. Any help is greatly appreciated as I want to get it fixed asap so I don't miss too many waves. Cheers Whitey (yt04)

I can like others on the Sunnie Coast recommend Bart - "Boards by Bart". Contact on 0411 389 925.
Very reasonable and quick turnaround time. Nice guy too...

Thanks for the replies guys. I Think I'll give Bart a call as I like dealing with someone direct. Where abouts on the coast is he located? Cheers whitey

I'm not sure but I weigh 95kgs and may be too heavy for my 9' atlantis but I've surfed all my life except for the last 10 years or so where I magically gained 15 or so kgs. Too fat for my old boards and don't have the fitness so I got into sup about a year ago and loving it to be back catching waves. The deck has sunken a bit where I stand so I'm thinking of removing the grip and getting Bart to fix the cracks around the handle (only because the deck is sinking either side of the handle) and maybe another sheet of glass and fabric over the lot to help and strengthen it all so hopefully it won't keep happening as I'm happy with the board. I'll just get some new grip again for the deck then. Any advice re that plan or just fix the cracks?? Cheers Whitey

Here's the latest. If you are after a repair and you're on the Northside of brissy or sunny coast, definitely do yourself a favour and go to Bart. Great bloke who does a cracker job and great price. I'll never go anywhere else. Easy to get to only 10 mins from the Bruce down Maroochdore Rd. Thanks for the advice boys and you were spot on. Thanks Bart!!!!
