Gopro is often knocked over by waves and films the deck when paddling out.I have the pivot bolt done up pretty tight, apart from jamming some foam under it what amI doing wrong with the mount?Have an old laptop not capable enough for editing.Someone suggested changing to Mac any thoughts?and finally easy to use editing program for Windows if I go that route,I think they use Imovie on the Mac .

Mate I use iMovie on the Mac which is free software and find it very easy to use and very quick. You can also buy much better software again such as final cut pro etc, but IMovie will do 99% of what you need. I have not found a solution for the gopro on the nose of the board. I tend to not worry about it till I get out the back, then I will adjust it then and use the wifi remote to start filming when needed. Cheers - Cooper

I have the same problem with the camera getting flattened. Gotta use a screwdriver to tighten it up, but it's still a problem. I haven't done it yet, but I think roughening up the connecting surfaces with a bit of sandpaper will help.

I just use the GoPro studio software that you can download for free. If you watch the 'how to' videos first it make sense and is easy enough.

Same problem going through waves.... sometimes the "smack" is pretty rough.... so I'm thinking it may be better to let it move a bit to absorb the hit.... then just adjust it again when out side.

I have snapped pieces off the mount and the housing in one hit... so a little "give" isn't bad.
