Any tips on keeping water drops off the lens?
I also found that even though the screw was done up hand tight it kept getting knocked down by the white water and I had to keep tilting it back up.
I ended up using the white mount with the double sided tape it came with.
With the full deck I thought it wouldnt stick but so far so good. Amazingly strong and I dont think it will be going anywhere.
Any other tips on getting some wicked footage would be great.
Thanks

The Olympus only had a 28mm lens so it was never gonna be any good. Being heavy duty and water proof made it fun to chuck in your wetty while going for a surf or cable tieing it to the boom or mast while getting some wind and wave action. It was a sick camera for still shots and rapid fire. It took 10 photos at a time which was enough to capture a good shot from a sequence. The best video footage it took was on my 11'2 as it was further away.
It also didnt take photos every 2 seconds like the Gopro does. I am still gonna get another one just for taking photos from the beach and from in the water but stick with the Gopro for all the onboard action.

No its not the HD. I dont think its out yet?
I have scaled down the photos to about 200kb just for easy uploading.
The original photos it took are about 1mb.

You've got to do it up with a phillips head screw driver to stop it getting knocked over.

How dumb am I? You dont have to answer that Casso
I just looked at the housing and can now see the phillips screw tucked in there.
What angle do you usually put it at Casso? I guess it depends on the board length?

I used the Gopro white mount that it came with. It comes with super strong double sided tape. I just need to get myself another dent puller so I can put it on other boards.

Hey Hilly. Yeah next to the marina. I got out of the house a bit late on Saturday morning. The two little handbreaks were on
It wasnt until after mid morning that I was able to get out there and by this time it was onshore. The usual breaks already had 500 million people out so I looked for some empty waves. It was tiny, empty and protected from the wind

Hey Greenie,

Also get yourself a float, I took a full on wipe out at OG Reef and broke the mount.

I found the housing floating in the shorey, without the float the crabs would be trying to workout if they look fat in this years shell lol.

Allrounders gopro is at the bottom of Torquay Point for the same reason.

Hey philly where can I get a float from?
BCF dont stock anything like that. I tried Kmart in the fishing section but nothing there either.
Anyone in Perth know where I can get a float from?
Maybe a boat or water ski shop?
Thanks
