Hi Crew
The day started slowly for me, a little hungover from a great BBQ the night before. Don't you love it when just throwing a few things on the BBQ turns into an epic night of beers and red wine. Anyway got up and helped pack the kids lunches and get them off to school. Gave the wife a peck on the cheek as she left for work and I had the day to myself. I vacuumed the house, did the dishes and got two loads of washing done. I mopped the floors and finished the clean up from the night before. High tide was about 1230 so thought I might slip out and get a few waves before school pickup. It was awesome in the water with 20 of my closest friends. 15 Mal rides, 4 shorties and a goat boat. We surfed a single peak beachy with both left and right hand working. The water was really clear and all the crew were rotating nicely around the peak with the odd drop in but hey we are all friends. I spent two hours chatting, surfing, dropping in and being dropped in on. The waves were waist high and it was magic. I love my days in the water and SUP has enabled me to fall in love with surfing once again. I do hope you all in the near future have a great day like mine, well maybe without the hangover.
Cheers Scott
