Hey Guys,

People tell me this event is really fun and there is a 4km SUP race and also you can do sup fishing in the comp as well.

Camo, Matt, DJ, JC, Lobes, Woody, this is open ocean the real deal are you guys up for it?

Kristi and I are heading down and look like we might get Revin Kevin and mabe Rich along as well.

The whole event is free according to the blurb and with Apollo Bay being such a lovely location you'd be crazy not to go.

Windinging down the coast will be spectacular me thinks.

PM me if your thinking of going it would be great to get a Seabreeze Crew together for this event.

Phill

Sorry Lacey but Apollo Bay is pretty much flat, at least on the surf club side inside the bay. But some good waves
only a short drive away. Could be a good weekend to get away with the wife.

I might be able to get down there, If I can get a camp site at Skenes Creek I'm a definate! I'll give 'em a bell.
Some really fun waves down that way.

Hi Guys,

If the race was being held at 8.00am in the morning I believe your right the bay might be like a mill pond.

I rang a couple of friends that live down that way and asked them what the sea breeze is like in the afternoon. I think you may find that by 3.40 in the afternoon the mill pond is quite different. The prevailing wind at this time of year can also come from the east and that will make it a whole new ball game.

Plan of attack is to have a surf in the morning and then hit the race in the afternoon.

It should be great fun from what I have heard.

Phill
