That's normal if you have little to no interest in racing or applying power to your strokes.

Good video. It's funny because my wife loves CrossFit, and I love SUP. She gets up early for CrossFit, and I get up for surf instead.

At the end of the video, when Woogie pretends to apply power into his fake stroke, you can literally see his whole body loading up for the big pull. He's a very good instructor. Hats off.

As far as CrossFit RubberBand Man goes, my calves and thigh muscles are bigger than yours, and my joints are tighter, and I can't fit a Hockey Ball into those locations like you do... But I can still do those exercises with me heel further away from my bum....

On the Sunshine coast Woogie has been fantastic in giving freely of his time and vast experience in outrigging and SUP to so many of us here. Also his record speaks for itself, especially this year's result in Molokai. Thanks Woogie.

Woogie is in the top 10 Ocean Athletes in the world! I know this because I've see first hand the respect he gets from from the other 9!!!!!
We are very lucky to have him in OZ.
He doesn't just teach you about going fast he teaches you to respect the sport, your body and mostly teaches you to have FUN!
I owe everything to Woogie and if I'm more stoked in the surf than the next bloke or I beat someone over the line in a race it is because of him.

I reckon this new site is going to be a fantastic resource.
Woogie has given me a lot of advice and help via email over the past year. He has answered every one of my questions in great detail with nothing in it for himself. I've never met him but he seems like a great bloke and hopefully one day I will get to meet him, get out for a paddle with him and say thanks for all the help he has given me.

I've been lucky enough to meet Woogie when he came down to Sydney , what a top bloke took the time with myself and my kids teaching us new skills etc.
I'm pleased he's taken the time and effort to put these videos togeather look forward to the next one.

Cheers DJ another great find!

I couldn't agree more with all the coments about Woogie.

Coreban are very lucky to have someone like him on board with them.

I'm looking forward to catching up with him again in Merimbula in a few weeks.

Now lets hope more people take advantage and get Woogie to give them a one-on-one up on the sunnie Coast.
You learn so much more from these guys if they are showing and demonstrating on the water for you. (There is nothing lost in translation).

Well if we are going to have an 'All Hail Woogie' moment, I had better join in!

Cannot say enough kind words about Woogie for all his freely given advice. He always has a few constructive words to offer (that can make a huge difference to your paddling performance) and they are always offered in a really positive and encouraging way.

Love crossing paths with Woogie & Jodie at the various events around the countryside! Another great reason to get out and participate even if you aren't really the competetive type.

Great ambassador for the sport!
