Greenmount was just pumping this afternoon I SUP halfway between Greenmount & Kirra breakwall it was around 2 ½ - 4 feet when the sets came through it was really walley & fat just perfect for SUP by the time you done your bottom turn the wave would hit the bank & just fire dredging along the bank (pumping) I had the best session every on me 8’6’’ Woody Jack kind of wished I had the GoPro camera on to make another low budget I mean no budget LOW PRESSURE PRODUCTION presentation. Tomorrow morning at 5:00am its (game on) with GoPro camera. After that session I reckon I could chop 2 inches of my SUP & get a 8’4’’ Woody made.

cause half of the goldie is down here bombing the lineup at minnie water

and the other half are driving around in circles trying to find somewhere to camp as it is packed full

couldn't even find somewhere to park this arvo 2 days ago i couldnt find someone to surf with........hahahahah..........lol...............

had a nice session with jackson close he was ripping the cr@p outta it on his macsup

I know, I know was doing some fabrication work till 7pm

yer i looked at the waves this morning and saw 20 dudes out and thought they can have it

Surfed greeny the last 2 day and had some real fun waves, Heaps of people out but no one catching wave which ment i got any wave i wanted both times its only me and 2 mates on SUP's and the rest are just some mal riders. Good vibe in the water with only one grumpy old mal rider having a whinge but he could only just stand up and go straight so **** him.

Totally stuffed now , surfed the Alley again today on the midmorning high tide only 4 suppers out , caught a couple of bombs from out past the point into Laceys.One of the best sessions ive had for ages , you had to be patient but when the sets come through a few where bombs.Nearly killed a stupid snorkller , he was out spearing amongst 200 surfers i took of on a good size wave and had a fair bit of speed up and his head pops up about 2 feet in front of me , i dont know how i managed to misss him , but if i collected , it would have taken his head off.

Next it was the Hennessey’s Race on the North Shore Turtle Bay to Waimea Bay 11kms. Nowhere near as good as Maliko Gulch on Maui but still fun (paddle power). It was so hectic at the start with 41 SUP’s & 143 Paddleboarders I gave everybody a 60metre head start just to avoid the massive wake! When I started I took off & mowed em down. Having some fun paddle battles with the competitors, some competitors said to me later “you wait until next year” I had to laugh. As I was approaching Waimea Bay this scuba diver appeared out of nowhere & I nearly took his head off, luckily the lifeguard was on a jet ski close by as I yelled out & pointed “mine field” he was quickly told to move.
