Just interested to know if anyone has tried any of the magic carpet range.

If so what did you think?

Does anyone have the dimensions of the 8fter?

like to help you. i went to the factory because i was interested at that stage. js is contracted to billabong, but a lot of the shops can't stock em- too big. they said because of that they could do something for me.i dropped in twice, but nothing happened, left a phone number and the said they would contact me - nothing, so i just gave it up. make of that what you will
cheers

Hey Lacey,

Hence my question, I have only seen one in Vicco.

Maybe they are still in the prototype phase and havent gone into production yet.

i was told them are going to mass produced off shore. true kirra stock them, but didn't have any at that stage.they are very wide right through, its got what i would call a token pointy nose. the rails were i suppose modern and i think they were 30" wide. phil i reckon you could go a 8' 5" to 9" er looking at your photos, boards you surf etc. i think they were doing them in normal surfboard contruction locally
cheers
ps mac only seen luke surfing mc's on vid

Thanks Mac.

I would appreciate your help.

Lacey the board is not for me, I am trying to help out a friend.

I have the 9'6 sorted with new fins and that is close to the perfect board for my wide A$$. Althought I keep carrying some ones ripper back to the car lol.

I have a demo gun at the moment and when the wind drops to less than 50kn I will be taking it for a spin in some serious juice to see how that baby rolls lol

It will double as my downwind and take to the beach in any conditions board.

Then the quiver will be complete said in best "Darth Vader" voice

I saw a grey MC out at bells on the weekend. I was watching it being surfed in small surf and it appeared to stall significantly in top and bottom turns!

Our waves have power in different part of the wave and I think this may hold the key to it! A lot of northern boards have significant tail lift from what I have seen very different tail volumes.

But until I get to see one I wont know.

Yeah thats the one. I haven't seen it surfed but I would imagine it would be more
suited to solid 2ft+ beachies down the island & east coast or 3ft+ 13th.
