Curious if anyone's used this deck grip stuff?
Called Versa Traction grip pads - Came across it on eBay at the $100 mark.
Got a SUP without any form of grip, questioning getting some of
This or just using wax?

Save the drama and just use wax.

If it is any help, I built myself an Indo Balance Board and used the same stuff for grip, it works well and I haven't slipped on it yet, but obviously it is dry. I also used the same stuff on my paddle to add grip for my bottom hand, it works fine when wet and has decreased my hand slipping, so it does supply grip when wet just not sure how much it would provide for your feet when wet.

The only supplier I could find in Australia was these guys who I think are the same guys on EBay

I have it on my starboard wide point and been surfing with it for about a year in all conditions it is surprisingly grippy when wet almost like a hard silicon rubber feel with tiny diamond dimples I haven't slipped off, on it yet. Totally recommend it!

Only thing is it doesn't have any cushion effect because it is so thin, you don't sink into it like other thicker deck grips, which I think is better as it gives more response/ feedback feeling of the board.

Thanks heaps for the feedback...
Really appreciate it....

Wax is the easy option really isn't it! Wax on! Wax off! No damage done.

I can imagine sticking these things on would be a mission, I'm a perfectionist.
One mil out & I'd lose my crap
