I've been there too! Lots of times. Who would think that was a winters day? If it was of course. Absolutely beautiful and looks like the crew were enjoying themselves. That area was a haunt of mine when I was a lot younger and sillier. Obviously hasn't changed a great deal. Thanks for posting. ET.
Yes we have, dived there for many years with Sea Sports and had a fantastic stay there a while back after Nationals on the way home. It has amazing people and range of SUP and Surfing locations.
Don't believe it. This is all just trick photography and the place is really awful. The people are grumpy and difficult to get on with........... Nah not really, beautiful place and a great crew of SUP people down there. I am fortunate enough to get down there a bit and wish I could spend more time there.
Hey Jack , Great post would love to know about the drone or helicopter ,What brand ,how much range ,have you had it over the surf , how much wind affects it and did the camera come with it or is there provision to attach a go pro ? you know just the basic stuff. Mini pipe would be perfect for that sort of thing........ love to see more .
Sorry redfezz but I didn't do the flying or filming. Jake and Erin did all the UAV work using Jakes H2O Quadcopter with a gopro slung underneath. Melissa did the edit but I did all the stuntwork myself. There is more video to come.
Just wanted to say that looks amazing! I'm very new to SUP but live inland so have only been getting out on the river (Murray) but am possibly visiting the Jervis Bay area for a weekend in November. After watching that little video think I will have to take my board along if I do visit! (Or hire one!). How clear is that water? It's just gorgeous.
