I am heading to Noosa on Saturday for 10 days
Never been to QLD before or really seen a proper sand point. if anyone has some tips or needs a surf partner to go to some secret spot let me know
I am prepared to wear a blindfold
Thanks Tim

Hello Twimby lucky you, Noosa is nice, the water is still 24 degs, but there is not always a wave pushing around the point, so you may have to chase waves at the river mouth further up the beach (best on higher tide) or elsewhere on the coast.

Keep a smile on your dial when surfing noosa, I try and surf way out wide too, it can get rather crowded at times.

There's lots more surf breaks on the coast you can have all to yourself.

Enjoy.

Thanks Sunny

Always happy to find a patch to myself. Was not expecting to much point action but will have to paddle around there to say I have done it and am staying in Little Cove

Another question, I am going to hire a board and I ride a 9'6" Naish quad over here. Will be better off with something bigger as I imagine the waves are going to be waist and smaller.

I am only 75kg

Don't forget to check out the southern end of the Sunshine Coast.
Moffats has been pumping lately.Allways catches heaps of southerly ground swell in winter.

Enjoy the warm water
