I am off for a conference (junket ) next week staying at Twin Waters Resort.
I plan to do more surfing than conferencing!
Is there any surf nearby, or best bet to head up to noosa?
Cheers

Twin Waters resort is across the road from the beach (North Shore/Mudjimba), if there is any swell there will be waves, although this area is all beachbreak so can be fickle. Nearby alternative well known surfing spots are the Maroochy Rivermouth (about 1 km south), Point Arkwright/Coolum (about 10km north) or Noosa (about 25km North)

Sorry, should have clarified. I ride a shortboard and the other guy I am going to the conference with rides a mal.

Figured there are more people from Queensland on the SUP forum. But cheers for the responses anyway.

The bluff has the best Mal wave within 15min. Always crowded, quite opinionated surfers out there most days. Not really a short board wave though. Best bet is anywhere along the open stretch, picks up most swell an u should be able to find a bank that's suites u both
