For those who don't know how to post a picture on this forum this might help.

Here's what I do...btw..If you have an apple computer this will not work for you.

First...If you want to post a picture that appears on another site or even another forum..or even re post someone else's picture that has been posted here..This is what you do.

First you right click the picture..When the box opens you then click on Properties..it's down the bottom of the box.

Then another box will open and in box there is an URL Address..it's about the center of the box.

You need to highlight this address and copy it so you can paste it to where you want your picture to re appear in your post.

But there is more...Before pasting the picture URL Address you need to put first...then your URL Address..then [ /img] after the address..(without any gaps)

Posting your own pictures that you have stored on your computer is a little more tricky..because they do not have a URL Address.

To give you picture a URL Address you will need to load it into a photo hosting site..There are many free sites out there..I use Photobucket.

Once you make yourself a Photobucket account..and log in on that site..you can load your pictures there..and once they are there they will now have a URL Address.

So you just go through the same process as I showed above.

Some forums have there own picture loading site..I'm not sure about here on Seabreeze because I've never used it.

I'm sure others will know..But if they do you just load your picture there first..and once there it should then have a URL Address that you need.

It sounds very messy..and it is..but it gets easier with practice...

Oh yeah..Some sites will not let you steal their picture..so doing all this will not always work....It's tricky stuff.

If you have never done it..Give it a try.

Here's a pic that I just borrowed (stole) from another site..I'm not sure what the legal side of doing this is but I've done it for years without a problem.

On a mac, hold down "ctrl" as you click on an image (or right click if you've got a two button mouse).
This brings up a menu, select "Copy Image Address".

Then in your post, select "Paste" from the Edit menu and you'll have the image address appear in your post. To make it into an actual image you need to type after the address.

You can also post a photo into the seabreeze gallery, it's easy, just click on "Photos" in the menu above, and follow your nose until you've uploaded it into the right area.
