I have a Trident ULTRA carbon fibre 2 peiece SUP paddle and somehow water is stuck beteen the paddle blade and the end of the main shaft. Does anyone know how to get the water out? DO i need to remove the blade and empty it? There is a secure tape ring around the neck of the paddle and blade...any suggestions would be great thanks

If it got in it should come out..

If you can rest the paddle in the sun in a way where you think it got in facing down it should bubble out as the air inside expands.. Or it should eventually evaporate out..

Once out just seal around any suss areas with epoxy glue..

I use the "flute method": For water in the shaft, I just drilled 2 small holes ( ~ 3mm) on each side ~ 20cm under the handle and moving the shaft to make the water run in it, blow in one hole on top like a flute to make the water come out from the other one on the bottom. Works quite well without drilling big holes.

Small hole, drain and fill with wax (for next time it needs draining :-)
