so took the board out last week on my week off when I had a full face-palm moment lol.

so here I was paddling along at a comfy, but brisk pace, when all of a sudden i go from cruise mode to zero in 1.2 inches!!!!! There was a shallow sand bank/rock right out from the shore which halted my progress and made me face plant onto the board HAHAHAHAHA Luckily I didnt fall in and recovered fairly quickly but must have looked bloody funny to the people that saw me!

Chipped the paint off my nice painted centre fin on my new fanatic fly, not happy

I did the same on a river on a naish javelin.

Went from crusing along to dead still after hitting a submerged rock.

Windsurfing skills kicked in and I jumped 3 feet forward on the board to the narrowest part of the nose and didnt fall in.

Had to change my undies but didn't fall off.

Not a nice feeling and gives a bit of a knock to the confidence in rivers....
