With alot of you getting shorter boards now that fit in your average family wagon, just a warning that may save your board.

I hadn't seen it happen before but now I have. My friend with a brand new quality name epoxy board, left it inside the car while shopping. The board was in its silver bag, and there was one of those shade thingys over the windscreen. Windows on car were up.

Result after shopping - the nose of the board was totally melted, delaminated, and some cracks in the outer paint/shell. Can be repaired, at a cost, but needless to say, most disappointing indeed !

Anyone else with board meltdown stories?

It's amazing what a little heat can do to a perfectly good board..
