O&E One. I have a 9 ft, 7mm leach for small days and a 10ft 8mm leash for bigger days. I ride a 9'10" board and after getting caught inside once, the 9 ft leash is now 10 ft. So the rule about the leash being as long as the board applies!

Also... learn how to use the rail savers. I see so many SUP leashes on new boards where the rope is too long, effectively making the rail saver obsolete.

I agree, using a 7 foot leash with a 8'10" board, works great.

Always match my leash length to the board - 7' board gets a 7' leash, 10' board gets a 10' leash, and so on.

7mm O&E for normal waves, 9.5mm leash for big waves.

Mine is 10 foot....the creatures of leisure 10 foot sup leash (identical to their 10 foot outer reef)
Had the 12 foot before that....lasted a year and I liked the extra stretch

Try to measure your leash. With the rail saver, the plug string, and the fact that the plug is not on the rail, you can add a foot to the leash. Basically a 7' leash is over 8' in size.
So a 9' leash will go even for a 10' board.

If you do not believe me, just try it. Lay your board on the ground and see where the leash goes...

Here is a 6' CoL leash on my 6'9"

Thanks for the Info Guys ended up going for the 8 foot Creatures "Reef" leash. Interesting to see so many opinions on length and very interesting to see that 6' is not actually 6'.

Colas, is that out the packet or has it been stretched over time?
