Got totally caught out with that storm yesterday!

Just picked up the car from the wreckers after my mother in law reversed into it to have it smashed by golf ball size hail! Our new car looks actually looks like a golf ball....write off.

Smashed solar panels on our hot water system, smashed pergola. All a few weeks before we are due to head over seas on our big trip. WHY????

That's terrible Rez I've had a car flogged by hail it was never the same everything just kept falling off after it was fixed.

We actually went storm chasing last weekend up to Double Island Point with a film crew hoping to catch the category 4 cyclone would bring in the swell but by the time we got there it had been down graded and moved up north.

So you just can't win with storms

Got in early with the car repair guys and it looks like half of perth has lost their cars!!! They wrecked three as I was waiting to get mine looked at!!!! Can't believe you lost your garage! Thats heavy! We have two 50yr old gum trees in our yard and I was pretty relieved that they were still standing when I got home (Im kinda attached to them).

Oh well at least we weren't hurt eh. Thats the main thing.

Yeh, not to upset with suprise storm that destoryed my car,skylights and solar HWS but the worst thing about it was i was sure the next day we might get some suprise waves due to the 63knot wind etc but we got 0.3m now that upset me.

My car was officially written off yesterday Im going in to "surrender" it tomorrow - had a week but be registration gets cancelled after 7 days and that is on Tuesday.

I wont be able to get out paddling over easter

My new little zook has little dents all over..except a strip down the center of the roof where my board was.. They asses it in a few days.
