You need to tell us how heavy and tall you are, and what your experience and athletic level is.

I bought one of these direct from the USA for $650 delivered. Very rigid and great fun to surf on small waves. I also bought a Island two stage air compressor for $150 as they do take awhile to pump up. If you order over the phone, they only charge $29 delivery to Australia.

I had red air explorer as first board. Not much good for surf but anyone can learn on this and very tough. Held its money fairly well when came to resale when I moved on as it is well made known quality brand. Other boards in their range may be more suited to general/light surf use but this was good board to inspire and build confidence in first timers.
