This guy sounds like a complete idiot. Posting a fake shark attack to get people out of the water so he could have the waves to himself.

When the waves are good here we use a more effective method to clear the water.

The Remote Controlled Robotic Sharks.
This unique robotic shark has a full-range of motion to replicate the smooth, sleek swimming of one of nature's most efficient predators. It is able to gracefully maneuver up, down, left, right, and even backwards through water, in depths up to 9'. The shark can swim up to 40' from its handheld remote unit which is also submersible, allowing you to swim with your shark. The unit has a 15-minute run time per charge (four-hour initial charging; one-hour for each subsequent recharging), and an additional battery is available below for extended play. Remote requires one 9-volt battery. Each color has a different remote frequency so multiple sharks can be used simultaneously. Ages 8 and up. The manufacturer has confirmed that this item meets all U.S. Federal toy safety standards, including safety standards for lead.

The Remote Controlled Robotic Bull Shark.
Was $99.95 NOW $69.95

Shame it's so small !

Yeah not sure that he quite thought this one through...

"The waves were so crowded this morning, I put up the message in the car park before I went out for a surf," he said.

I guess that would have cleared out all the people surfing, as they checked their iphones in between sets.

"It's more of a safety factor, it's not just me being selfish trying to claim the waves."

Yes, most honourable, didn't for a second think you were being selfish.

"But it is dangerous out there when people don't know what they are doing."

And well we might say the same to you with regard to misuse of a computer.

Monday? Dale & I were surfing draino's, while standing out the back & scanning for a set I noticed some large & rather stressed looking salmon leaping from the water...a few minutes later the reason for their "stress" appeared....a good sized dorsal fin......very dark maybe a blue, & at least 3 m long.

I've known Clint for quite along time and he's actually a nice kid.

Posting a Facebook status update that your supposed friends can only see is not really a crime is it?

I'm perfect in every way so I know I've got nothing to worry about with you guys but sheesh I'd hate to screw up around here.............

Don't think anyone has called for a public hanging. It was kind of funny, but dumb and just a bit selfish, albeit apparently intended as a joke. No-one's hurt, we'll get over it.

You wouldnt believe how quiet it's been in the surf this week!
Small waves so most don't bother...its great! Been some good waves if your patient....Today, again had high tide Rincon on my own for hours, till one guy on a short board came out.
He said, "20 out at Winki.....but One stand up here, slightly better odds for getting a wave" I laughed & replied....do you think?

My brother, a few of our mates and I were surfing a popular Perth beach. When it got a bit crowded my brother climbed the empty life guard tower and screamed "SHARK!!! THERES A GREAT BIG F@$%ING SHARK!!!"
He cleared the surf and entire beach! We continued to enjoy countless, glassy, barrels
