I am chasing some info about inflatable SUPs so I can that them away on interstate trips for their convenience. Can anybody recommend a inflatable SUP that has a similar profile similar to a regular SUP with good rails and performs well in the surf. I have checked out a few but all have boxy rails and look more like a toy or pool inflatable rather than a real board (and I hate the tie downs they have on them).
Any recommendations will be welcome...Kev

I had the Starboard Astro Widepoint 8.2 Deluxe 2014, and is really good for travel and for surf, the new Astro Widepoint 8.2 Deluxe i not tried the 2015 but they say is more rigid and make more smart changes.

Very stable and easy to cacth waves, once you get used when you are on the wave make sure open more your legs in order you have more flat the board while down the wave, to avoid the nose wooble. Is a good board for surf.

If you want to enhances your surf, is better you install a kicktail this make more easy to turn the boards bottoms/up turns, also they sale a automatic pumps used battery and is really nice for inflated.

regards
