Is the inside diameter of most big name shafts the same - namely 1" or 25mm dia?

Yeah obviously there are oval shafts but also the round shafts are a different outside diameter so they would surely also be a different inside diameter.

If your looking to make a repair by sleeving inside the shaft . Make a cut length ways on a bigger section until it fits snuggly. Then glue in place
