Today was my last paddle on my loverly Naish Glide..
I had to sell it to afford my new 14' Glide that I have on order.. btw I should have it in a few weeks..

I really wanted to do my 'Island Hopping Paddle' today even though the other guys couldn't make it.. So I decided to head off alone and do it anyway.
When I got to Crib Point the weather looked perfect.
But once I got to the waters edge I was surprised to feel a 5-10 knot onshore wind.. I decided to wait and see what happens with the wind before heading off.
Bummer.. The 5-10 knots turned into 10-15 knots and white caps started to appear so I decided to do it another day.. Hopefully with the other guys.
I was thinking 'on shore here..it should be off shore at Frankston'.. So I headed of to Frankston for my last paddle on my Glide.
I got there and it looked perfect and the sun shone across the water.
I have never paddled at Frankston before and looking to the south it looked interesting because you can't see the beach from the road.
I headed off to explore the coastline.
There were some great houses that were right on the waters edge.
It looked like they are trying to stop this falling over.
Who'd have thought Frankston was this nice.
I kept thinking 'what's around the next point?' .. and kept paddling.
Waves.. there were waves so I headed back towards the car.
The water got glassier as I got back near Oliver's Hill.. Hey Didn't Oliver say he came from Frankston?.. I wonder?
I kept looking down on my beautiful Naish Glide while paddling back and thinking how much I'll miss it.
That's about it.. The Glide is perfect for little adventures like this.. Great board..
