whens the last time you completed an epic challeging adventure , taken on a few forty foot waves have you.If you have id like to read about it.Her achievment was amazing for some one so young.People jump on board because people like them inspire other people and can also inspire whole generations of kids to chase their dreams ect ect.
you must be taking the piss , well i hope you are.
just completed my last epic adventure about 5 mins ago....posted my first forsale item on Ebay....

holy crap that was worse than masterbating with a cheese grater!
as far as jumping on board, there is support and then there is support....eyesrolling... If you want to see me as knocking go right ahead...but also read the whole thread through again and look at Petermc and planesailing's posts....considering we are in a SUP forum and JM was one of the pioneries in this country alot of us are familiar to his efforts....
like I said they have all achieved highly in their feilds. It just becomes a pissing contest to compare them...ie Jessicas effort is fantastic...the distance makes it a big deal.......I would like to know the total km's JM has paddled on his feet/knees and stomach, total of waves over 20 foot he has been on with just some foam and fibre glass.....the injuries he has suffered and struggle through to keep going etc etc.....do you see what im getting at????
and alot of the others would have as well....
the term "our" just rubs me up the wrong way, like when you go to a shop and the /girl or lady calls you darl or hun....or when ford/commodore drivers think there car is better than the other by association with motor racing....
I have respect for all those people and their achievements....some got WAY more publicity than others....which isnt reflective of their achievement...more just popular Australia....
