Do you think this will ever happen? I was a bit disappointed today to be watching the Junior Worlds at Burleigh today and noticed they to are now being driven out to the line up. What happen to paddling back out in your heats and having paddle fitness. But these juniors sure can surf.

As long as this rubbish stays in the contest scene fine.

But as soon as some turkey starts towing his mate back out at the local beach , that's when the law should step in an prosecute .
These machines should not be allowed to operate near surfers, SUP , Swimmers or any other passive water user!!!!

They are a pain in the arse !! Noisy machines and dangerous .

Fine for towing into masive nuts waves that your normal human would never go near , but thats about the extent of their usefulness .

If it speeds up the comp and in turn creates a better spectacle then it's a good thing. They are all very talented, fit surfers who I'm sure have spent a lot of time paddling around lineups, so having to paddle back out proves nothing really in a competition situation.

Totally agree and the conditions today make for a long paddle out, what would you like to see, three wave heats and watch the guys paddle out or more surfing action,SIMPLE

Last time I was at Noosa they were all over the place taxi-ing guys out then swaping drivers.Meanwhile the rest of us were paddling our guts out just to stay in the line up.

Faaaarking hate Jet Skis, I can see their usefulness in the comp scene and tow-ins on massive days but apart from that just a stinky noisy toy for the bogan to compliment their unit stickered SS ute.

I can see everyones point with no jetskis in the line up, I hate them when there buzzing around and I can also see the purpose of them in comps, I guess I just use to like seeing the surfers run or paddle back up the point and slowly watch the fittest and most skilled allround surf conquer. Times change and yeah it does make for more waves ridden.
