Hey Serg, you probably saw all the girls (and a couple of guys) out for Angie's fitness class (anyone who want to improve their fitness should definately these classas a go).

Was a gem morning at Currumbin this morning. Had an early surf - first time on my new 8'10" Naish - and the conditions were great. Counted 20+ sups out at the alley at one stage, and some really fun waves when the sets came through.

Lets hope today sets the pattern for the rest of spring and i don't think anyone will be complaining.

im just stoked to be out there on/in the water... always wanted to, but just never did...bloody stupid to leave it this long i know

i feel i have many hrs left before i start to understand whats going on and before i can make a choice on what i want.... i know alot of guys are going shorter and thats cool...but i like being able to get on waves a bit easier....

no, not now. that's pretty amazing. for those that don't know, from memory i think that board is only 271/2" wide. some of us thought you were crazy to get a board that wide, but goes to show what can be done if you stick to it. good stuff
cheers

Got a couple of creamers, but spent a lot of time standing out the back too, just enjoying the day. Was just trying to get use to paddling the new board (its a bit more tippy than my old one), but once on a wave it feels really good. Hands off to Paul j. ripping on the 8'0", i can't even imagine jumping on a board that small.

all in all it was pretty good.... i know that amongst the SUP'rs it was good...

considering its a pretty busy spot, SUP's, mals, short boards, the odd goat boat and clubby skis....even the coast gaurd big irb came through ... it could be worse.

i do hear the rumblings, mostly from the short boarders, about not getting waves etc...had a few try and drop in on me....doesnt bother me one bit and im not about to have a go at them...but they better not bitch if our boards come together..funny thing is they were struggling to paddle in on the waves they were trying to drop in on lol...

i know the ocean is for every one, and the coast has alot of breaks....but IMO the short boarders can surf ANY break.... sups and kooks like me are more restricted...im not about to go surf D-bar, TOS etc...
