Hello

Just bought a board from SHQ Biard Sports - 14ft Coreban Dart

I don't know anything about SUP, but the misses and I thought it would be fun.
she picks up her Coreban 11ft 6 Cruiser Friday, also from SHQ

Seems like it's going to be fun learning, hoping to get better as my balance is shocking

Hello Jason.. congrats and great choice of boards.. The Dart will be great for downwinders..

Just make sure you get a board leash even if only paddling flat water.

and choose your places to paddle carefully depending on the weather and wind direcrions.

Try and make it to the Port Phillip Cup sup event on Aus day [26th] at St Kilda.

You'll be doing downwinders before you know it!

That's a super stable board - loves the high winds.

You're also welcome to join us (SUP Vic) for the Port Philip Cup on Australia Day at St. Kilda. It's how I got into SUP. Everyone's friendly and plenty of people to meet as paddle partners for social paddles or whatever you chose to do. PM me if you want any details or you can visit SUPVic.com
