That was awesome! Super nice guy to boot. Had him in a couple of my heats at the State titles.

The board he was riding was mad, 7'4" x 25" from memory.

Thanks for the warning. I will give it a miss, go out on my new MR retro twin and see if I can do that stuff on a "real" shortboard.

Yes, I must admit I have a sore back after sloutching around with the flu for a week. As soon as the sun comes up a bit more I might go for a lazy paddle on my 11' longboard.

When I am feeling young again, I will go back to the shortie, verticals and tight tube rides; not saying I might not get a few in on the 11' regardless!

Oh, don't you love the way us "bludgers" who surf all day get to change boards at whim (even occasionally riding a bloody SUP) whilst riding the fountain of youth?

(I even have enough time to correct some of the grammar and spelling in my posts!)

I forgot to ask that now Justin has gone to the dark side, would he have one of his old Hobies going cheap? The 8'11" would be fine.

Thanks again, Shane.

That vid shows why Justin is on the SUP World Tour. That's what it takes to cut it with the best. Awesome. BTW Pennywise rips.

Great footage.
After watching Justine at the state titles the speed and flow he had was a real standout.

Man you are surfing FN good!!
You've improved ALOT....!! since I saw you surf a year or so ago..
Backing my theory that in the future SUP will overtake prone surfing in possibilities and performance ..
Thanks for the inspiration Justin.
You rip!!

just watched it again

those roundhouse cutties are lethal...... thats where justin has been excelling lately.... his connecting turns are becoming more aggressive yet smooth and controlled resulting in him coming out of each turn with more speed and drawing hard lines as a result......

i sat on the kingscliff slsc balcony watching the master at work at his home break a while back and he was killing it.....

go the rubberman !!!!!!!
