Here are the times for the last two weeks. Sorry for being slack last week (report cards)

Last week was a great race. I learnt that having the fin hanging backwards does slow you down as did Jonsey using his to pick up plastic bags. Strong paddle and Young Trev (forever to be known as "Biltong") smashed it out. This young man is going to be a force to be reckoned with in 12 months. Watch this space...

Tonight Beau came up and showed us how it is done. Smashed out a ripper of a time to record the 4th best 14' time. Not his best though as he holds third for that.

Good battles were had all round on the lake though my blade did get stuck on rusty's board for a while.

We had a number do the half lake (2.24km)tonight as they get the feel for it.

G'day Swanie thats a great time trial format you've got going. I recon anyone that goes under 27 minutes for 4.24ks is a weapon. I jumped in the canal on Tuesday for the first time in 6 months I felt like Wallaby Ted's brother Roo Ted. I'm not a sprinter, I'm more into distance when I'm fit I work on 10 km in 65 minutes thats fast for me but would be slow for someone else.

I hope to come up in the future Swanie and give the 4.24 time trials a go, I just need to keep of the beer, loose 5kg and get my fitness up to scratch?

Have you got guys in there 50's doing the 4.24 time trials? whats there times
