I had a great surf at Port Macquarie 'North Shore' last Friday morning with a local SUP guy nicknamed "Fish". It was just the two of us out in beautiful, clean, beach-break walls of fun at high tide.
Unfortunately I left my beloved Kenalu paddle behind at the beach. I've written it off now, but I'm thinking of buying a different brand replacement paddle just for fun. I'm looking at the Quickblade Trifecta 86. My previous Kenalu was an XTuf 84 with an Ergo handle. Any advice on preferences...?!

I use both a Kenalu Molokai/XTUff-S and a QB V-drive, their catch's are very similar.. Which is amazing as the Molokai is about 105 sq. inches and the V-drive 91.. Both give immediate power at the catch. I'm pretty sure the Trifectas contribute power at mid stroke, and are more of a distance sort of paddle.. (Or for those who like that )
