Had a Sup at Burleigh this morning great conditions early solid 6 foot but it feel to pieces pretty fast on the out going tide with all the run out rain water from Tally creek. When I came in I met a photographer taking pics he got a couple of me on the inside sections so I checked out his web site , he has some great pics of Classic Kirra last week and a shot of us at Currumbin on the sups the same weekend.

Check out his web site you might be on it. www.flickr.com/photos/tk_five_0/ his name is Michael Dawes and the pics are free to download.

Sorry about that...... and for the 3rd week straight the swell is still cranking.

All this big swell has been great for trying out different fins & boards , I would have loved to have had a crack on your 9-3 yesterday at Burleigh Casso.

The alley also fired again yesterday arvo on the run out tide....ALL HAIL HUEY

I was on my 9-10 would have preffered the the 9-1 but the takes offs were late enough on the 9-10 , you need paddle speed to get onto these waves.

I run Future Quads in both my boards the 9-10 has T1's in the front and AM2'S in the rear , I caught a couple of monsters that morning and the board hung in really well considering how sucky it was.

I have Andersons in my 9-1 but they are too small , I'm yet to try the T1's & AM2's in it yet.

Gday Piro,
Great shots mate.We also had epic waves down here(Mid North Coast) Friday,Saturday,Sunday in particular, best waves Ive SUP'd.I am running 4x"speedfins" in my new 9'4"and it hangs in so well, even on the those big step face bottom turns.Do you change from quad to thruster set-up offen or just stay with the quad?

So if your surfing and I have a issue with my rolla, who do we call?
Looking around my new place of work today,I note a little red sticker
Do you know the prone surfers?
Another photography mob called WOTASHOT also take snaps on the GC and
infact around the world and not just surfing all sports, check it out!
You can't upload the photos, they set you back around $11 bucks, well worth
it if your in the frame

Yes I heard you guys have been having some great waves and great see you are charging on the Sup. Give us some pics. My boards only have 4 boxes thats it and even when I ride friends boards I still prefer my quad set up , I just love the drive from the 4 fins.

Gday Piros,
Will hopefully get some footage this weekend.Ive had my little FUJI camera housing leaked a couple of weeks ago and diedededed dead.I bought a new GOPRO through Simon at Newcastle SUP and it leaked first surf.He has really looked after me by sending me a new GOPRO within a week,so just hoping those 6-8' sets are still coming through on Friday.
As for the quad, ive been riding a couple of twin fin "fish" (shortboards)for the last couple of years,so love the drive of the quads as well,
