Knowing when not to paddle is one of the skills of downwinding..

Even in marginal conditions like we got the other day..

I though I'd try the mouth cam because I knew it wouldn't be good enough to mount my big camera rig..

It was still lots of fun..

I was wondering why you got red Thumbed till I saw the thumb at 2.03. You were fishing for a green thumbs up!!!

Ha.. I'm sure DW vids are the most boring vids to those who are not into doing DWers..

Especially in lighter conditions because GoPro's makes reasonable conditions look so flat and windless..

It's not till you get around the 30-40 knot mark that it looks windy at all..

I'm not a big fan of the mouth cam after watching this..

The angle is better than helmet cam. Amazing how just a few inches lower makes a difference. I suspect the mouth cam would be even worse in Melbourne Winter. Too much teeth chattering.
