Great shots Phill. Bummer I couldn't make it down today - at least I've got my laptop in hospital with me so I can get onto the 'breeze for a fix.

Fantastic series Kristi, you just look so relaxed.

Have you seen the post on the Zone about compression www.standupzone.com/forum/index.php?topic=3429.0 I can dream about doing but I know you can do it!

I have this funny feeling that by this this summer you are going to be sponsored - by someone other than your Dad I mean.

hi phil, kristiana will learn compression/extension, rotation and back and forth movement just by being on a sup. our club coach(alley) who takes aussie teams os never takes to kids about that stuff, hesays they will just do it. if she ever decides to shortboard, after some adjustments, she will kill it. just look at that wilson kid from the sunny coast who beat kelly at the quicky. he was a longboarder and he has a beautiful technique.keep with the fun factor for sure. it disturbs me to see kids stressing out about their surfing.i demand to see a vid in a years time
cheers

Hey Lacey,

Everything we do is focused on fun, thats why I love surfing with the kids!

Kristi has improved so much just by getting out there and trying new things new breaks etc! She is just so relaxed in the water now, nothings seems to phase her!

We took Kristi to Bells yesterday as she has wanted to surf it for so long, for her it was a dream.

She was really nervous at first but that soon changed! The rocks and shallow reef was a little scarey for her but but that too passed with the excitement!

She almost didnt sleep last night she was so stoked!

Kristi and Nesha spent most of today chasing each other around main beach, swapping paddles and boards and just being silly dancing on thier SUP boards to imaginary music!

Then when one of the few waves came through they would jostle each other for position and go streaming down the line!

No one noticed it was a mere 10 deg c laughs!

I want them to stay like that forever!

Phill

Hey Everyone,
Thanks for all your replies (is that how you spell it?)
Surfing Bells was amazing! The reef underwater was really beautiful (in a rather scary/dangerous but still)
It's something that Dad's always wanted to do so went and did it.
The only problem with surfing fast, powerful waves like Bells and Roadknight, is that you don't wanna really go back and surf main beach. Lol
Has anyone else evr gotten back on their long/shortboard and as you've gone to turn, "reached for your paddle" (which isn't actually there)?
Yeah people give you the weirdest looks. Haha
