Heading up to Lake Eildon in Victoria this weekend and wondering if anybody has taken their sup on the lake. Any good spots to check out? Has DJ been there? Looked for past post but cant seem to find any. Any thoughts?

How's it going Hoagie.. yeah.. I've been there.. It's good.. I'll check through my old pics and see if I can find some.

The best place is Bob's park lake (or Aura Vale lake) across the road.

Actually I'm thinking Cardinia Reservoir... Eildon should be good.

Eildon water level is only at 33% (better than 3 years ago at 14%), should still be plenty of water to paddle, but imagine the potential if it was full.

I've paddled there. Friends of mine have 2 on their house boat and we paddled each night after wakeboarding last summer. It's pretty cool, cruising around in all the nooks and crannys checking stuff out. Take the mozzy repelent, from memory if you went ashore on dusk you get smashed by the bities.

Also don't dive in too much close to shore, there is heaps of tree branches you can't see mainly along the shore line. You'll have fun/relaxing time though for sure.
