Has any of the crew out there done a Downwinder from the southern end of Lake Weyba to Noosa?

Due to the constant South East wind and messy ocean of late, I have been thinking that this could be a good run. No big waves just wind and windswell but it could be good.
Launch from the Weyba Downs area and finish somewhere in Noosa Sound. Probably around 10 kilometres.

Be interested to hear from anyone who has done this jaunt or knows about it.

Thanks.

ET.

I have looked at it on google maps on occasion thinking it could be good.
I'd be keen to go with you if you want?

Thanks Kenny. I am limited for time due to family commitments but will, have a look and let you know.

Is amp best for you?

P.s. I am not a gun Downwinder, just an average old dude paddler who loves it. So you have to take that into consideration.

Cheers.

I'm no gun either!
Any time week ends suits, or prefer mid arvo Mon, Thurs or Fri.
Cheers,
Ken.
