That's a guy in Thailand testing the new Kelly Slater Proto from All Merrick, they're moving into SUP. Apparently He (KS)can do airs in twelve foot Honolua Bay on that, and it's his BOP board! It's a quad running 3cm Futures at the front and 1.5 at the back. Kelly said "Yeah I think I can go sub seven on this shape!" When questioned about the lack of rocker, he said" Parko and Fanning might need rocker, I don't!!!" His other SUP for surf conditions is an Esky lid 30 x20 running a Thruster set up with a 3 cm centre and 1 cm sides. " I'm finding it a bit corky, the rails need thinning out", " I've taken up SUPPING cause it's a bit of a challenge on this equipment!!
I might give Jacko a ring to see if he's going to stock them. Imagine what this will do to the major manufacturers. Prices could tumble and the mind boggles where this could go. Sponsors ,races etc.
